Component Library
The component library is a searchable database of real RF components. Linking a component to a block imports its parameters and connects the block to the component. The component library is a work in progress and does not reflect the total amount of RF parts in the world.
Searching the library
Open the library panel and search by:
- Component — filter by LNA, PA, mixer, etc.
- Parameter ranges — e.g., gain ≥ 20 dB, NF ≤ 2 dB, frequency 2000–6000 MHz
- Part number or manufacturer name
Linking a component to a block
There are two ways to link a part to a block:
From the library (imports parameters):
- Select a block on the canvas and click Link part in the parameter popup, or open the component library search from the Parts view
- Find the matching component
- Click Link
The block's parameters are updated from the component's datasheet specs. All linked parameters are marked with Datasheet source and High confidence. Parameters not covered by the component spec remain unchanged.
Enter a part number manually (records identifier only):
- Click Link part in the parameter popup
- Type the part number in the "Enter your own part name" field at the top of the dialog
- Click Save
This records the MPN on the block without searching the library and without importing any parameters. Use this when you know the part number but it is not in the library.
Unlinking a component
Click Unlink in the block's component section. The parameter values remain on the block but provenance changes to User source. The connection to the library entry is removed.
